Using bulk actions to manage fields

If you'd like to update field values for multiple contacts, you can do it using bulk actions.

To start, go to your contacts and manually select subscribers you want to update by clicking the checkbox next to their email addresses. You can also select more contacts by clicking on the drop-down next to the "Email address" header:

We show 50 contacts per page by default, but you can change that number using the dropdown below the Email address column.

Next, click on "Actions" and choose "Update fields".

You'll see a pop-up window with a dropdown list of all the fields you created in your list.

Depending on the field type you choose, you'll see different options.

Text, Number & Date fields

For text, number or date fields, you'll be able to replace the current values with a new value or clear existing values altogether.

Number fields only accept integers.

Choice fields

For single-choice fields, you'll be able to replace the existing selections with a new value:

Or remove any selections from the contacts you're updating:

Tip: If you have lots of values, you can use the search box to pull them quickly:

For multi-choice fields, you can add specific values using the Add selection tab:

You can also replace current values with a new set of values in the Replace selection tab:

Or, you can remove some values from the selected contacts in the Remove selection tab:

Remember to click "Update" to apply the changes to your contacts. You won't be able to undo the updates, so make sure you review the selected contacts and changes you apply.
