How to create a landing page
A landing page is a stand-alone web page that includes a sign-up form where people can subscribe to your list. We host our landing pages, so you don't need your own domain to set one up.
Currently, there are two versions of the editor interface available on our platform (Editor and New editor). Please follow the instructions that match the editor you see on your account or click here to check which version you're using.
New editor
To create one, go to the Landing pages & forms tab. From there, you can click Create or Create a landing page.
Pick your connected list and then click on the Save & next button to choose one of the templates as a base and start designing.
Edit the design
To design your landing page, you can drag and drop elements into the template and move them around. For example, you can change the image and background colour, as well as the default font settings in the Global style tab.
You can also change the style and settings of your sign-up form by clicking on its elements and adjusting the style in the menu on the left.
Edit the sign-up form
You can click on fields to add them into your form – First Name and Last Name are the default ones, but you can create other custom fields to include here (see Adding New Fields).
If you would like to edit the field itself, just click on it once it's been placed on your form.
There, you can also decide whether the field will be regular or hidden (hidden fields allow you to segment your subscribers without them having to submit that data – for example, everybody signing up through a form published on your landing page could have a field "from landing page" assigned to them).
If you tick the box to make it a required field, your subscriber will need to fill it out before submitting the form.
Data in the date fields will be displayed in the user's local format within the sign-up form. It will then be added to your list in YYYY-MM-DD format.
You can also choose to automatically add a tag to all contacts who subscribe through that landing page. Just click on the sign-up form to display the form options, click Add new tag and select the tag:
Page settings tab
In Page settings, you can choose the part of your landing page URL showing after [accountdomain].eopages.com/. Your account domain name is generated automatically based on your team name, but you can change it any time in your Account Settings. There's also an option to add a consent checkbox and a redirect to a different page after submitting the form.
You can also set up your SEO settings, such as title that will appear in the browser tab or description and image to display when sharing URL on social media. You'll also find fields for your analytics IDs.
Publish
Use the Preview tab to see how your landing page looks on desktop and mobile. Once you're happy with your design, you can either publish it or save it as a Draft.
Once published, your landing page will be available under the URL you chose in the Settings.
When using our Starter plan, you can create up to three forms and/or landing pages per account. If you need more – upgrade to the Pro plan.
