How to use EmailOctopus's AI chatbot

EmailOctopus offers an AI chatbot designed to help you quickly find answers to the most common questions about the platform and email marketing in general.

AI chatbot can only answer questions based on the information available in our Knowledge Base and other publicly available emailoctopus.com pages. It will not be able to give you answers that don't already exist in our documentation. If the AI chatbot doesn't help, please reach out to our support team.

To access the AI chatbot, you'd need to click on the help beacon. You'll find the beacon at the bottom of the right side of every page on your dashboard - it's a purple button with a question mark icon.

As you open the beacon, you'll see the "AI Answers" section at the top of the pop-up. To open the AI chatbot, click on that section and type your question or select a suggested question.

To make sure you get the most out of the AI chatbot, it helps to know what kinds of questions to ask and how to ask them. Here are some of our tips on how to use the AI chatbot:

  • Ask one question at a time - the AI chatbot responds best when you ask a single question, rather than combining multiple questions into one.
  • Keep your questions simple - ask short, clear questions. This makes it easier for the AI chatbot to understand what you're looking for. If you’re not sure how to phrase your question, try using keywords instead.
  • Stick to general topics – use the AI chatbot to learn how EmailOctopus features work, troubleshoot basic issues, or get help getting started. For anything specific to your account, like your account billing, it’s best to contact our support team directly.
  • Rephrase your question - if the chatbot’s answer isn’t quite what you expected, try asking your question in a different way or follow up with another question to get more clarity.

The AI chatbot understands multiple languages, so feel free to ask your question in the language you're most comfortable with.
