What is a list?

A list is a collection of email addresses that have opted into receiving your emails. You may have a list containing your customers, for instance.

You can add subscribers to the list manually in EmailOctopus, using our import functionality, via our forms or by using one of our integrations.

With EmailOctopus you can have as many, or as few, lists as you wish. We calculate your subscription tier based on the cumulative number of subscribers within those lists. For example, 2 lists, exactly the same, each holding the same 1300 subscribers would be calculated as 2600 contacts.
